San Francisco 1998 - 2009
In a roach infested but vibrant tenderloin apartment "complex"... between 1998 and 2003 Malatesta aka DJ Slo-Mo, Interphaze, Damaru, Bitter Pie, Drowning Dog, Phantom Patient used the tech of the day to produce CD compilations (it was spring 1998). We asked all the music contributors like Screamo Leemo and the inspirational Healamonster (just to name a few) to include any track they wanted, a strip of artwork and $100. Press 500 or 1000 CDs and share them amongst ourselves/the degenerate artists to sell on, that's how Entartete Kunst/EK Collective/EK Records came about. We made beats, organized shows and bombed the bay area with stickers, posters and (mostly really bad) tags all without any financial backing, set up our tables at anarchist bookfairs, ant-war demos etc.. and got really amazing support from AK Press, Ameoba Music, Spirulina John, Open Mind Records, Aquarius Records, The Groove Merchant, Bound Together Books and The Edinburgh Castle pub/venue on Geary Street in the TL/Polk Gulch.

After the first tour in Europe the Western Addition is where DDM/EK set up studio in 2004, came up with the idea and released the States Of Abuse International compilation on double 12" vinyl. Then got a place in the Mission district 2005 - 2009 at the red stone building (historic union hall and offices that housed Indymedia and others) to record vocals for States Of Abuse, Got No Time & Mix Tapes and Cotton.

Milano 2009 - 2014
The label/DDM moved to Italia thanks to Leleprox and his comrades. With barely any money the hunger was still there to produce and collaborate while in Milano. EK Records/DDM organized countless Europe wide tours for various rappers/DJ's on or connected in some way to E.K. also organizing "Rap Militante Internazionale" events @ Cox18 in Milano supported by Leleprox and Acero Moretti with guests from various continents and locally also in this period the antagonista a vita video was made and we organized over 80 DDM shows mainly benefits for various radical initiatives in Italy.

Berlin 2014 - ?
Moved to Berlin with support from Disorder Rebel Store, Alex from Malavida Music, Montecruz Foto and DJ Montag... immediately set up a studio, joined up with the Barrio Revolta collective and started booking shows for and with the international network, always continuing with new productions putting out CD's and Vinyl with Acero Moretti, Q.E.L.D. and Nadir as well as DDM E.P.s Sick Of This Shit 12 inch and Punch Up d/l.
